TGGS, KMUTNB, in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University and Hongik University, successfully organized the first International Smart Mobility Symposium ? “Bridging the Grids”. The event took place on 6th of October 2017 at Makkasan Airport Rail link station in Bangkok, Thailand.
This year, speakers from Thailand, Germany, Korea and Singapore shared their insights into present trends and their visions of the future of urban interconnected mobility in megacities. An exhibition area had been set up within the event venue at Makkasan Airport Rail Link station, where a diverse range of companies from local start-up to global player showcased their vehicles, technologies and know-how in all the mobility-related industries.
The event was opened by the Minister of Transport, H.E. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, and the German Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Peter Pr?gel. It was co-chaired by the Thai Railway Engineering Association (TREA), the Ministry of Transport (MOT), the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP), Airport Rail Link (SRTET) and the State Railway of Thailand (SRT).
